IU Health is looking for an RN House Supervisor (Associate Administrator) to join the leadership team at our Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, IN. This part-time inpatient position will support the day shift from 7 AM to 7 PM, working two days per week (Monday to Friday).

Position Overview:
As the RN House Supervisor (Associate Administrator), you will provide essential leadership, management, and oversight during the absence of administrative and management staff. In this role, you will facilitate patient flow, expedite patient placement, and serve as a consultant during emergency or unusual situations. Additionally, you will follow up on any problems or concerns in collaboration with the appropriate departments and administrative personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide leadership and direction in the absence of key management and administrative staff. Ensure efficient patient flow and placement within the hospital. Consult and address any emergency or atypical situations as they arise. Collaborate with necessary departments and administrative personnel to resolve issues and concerns efficiently.

Qualifications:

Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) required or relevant experience. Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license. Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies. Requires completion Clinical Specialty Professional Certification within 1 year upon meeting eligibility requirements. Requires 5-7 years of relevant experience.
