The RN House Supervisor is responsible for acting as the hospital’s administration representative to personnel, patients, visitors and the community on the off-shifts; maintaining a collaborative relationship, both interdepartmentally and intra-departmentally; facilitating communication; resolving problems and promoting quality patient care.
Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) required or relevant experience. Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license. Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies. Requires completion Clinical Specialty Professional Certification within 1 year upon meeting eligibility requirements. Requires 5-7 years of relevant experience. 3-5 years of experience in ED, MS or ICU preferred.
