RN- ICU- Oswego Hospital

Registered Nurse under the general direction of the Clinical Nurse Manager, in accordance with the objectives, policies, and procedures of the nursing department and established professional standards, provides total nursing care to patients of all ages appropriate to unit.

Effectively interacts with patients, healthcare members, while maintaining standards of professional nursing.

Demonstrates capability to organize and prioritize care in order to allow room for emergencies. Demonstrates knowledge of coronary care and the protocol for cardiac and respiratory emergencies.

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. GN- permit paperwork submitted to NYS. RN- Current licensure in NYS. Current certification in CPR. Completion of Pharmacology, IV Therapy, PALS, Telemetry and Critical Care Courses, and ACLS within the first year of employment. Unit specific orientation. Minimum one year Med Surg experience, and/or CCU experience preferred.

Pay Range; $42.00/hr

Employee salary is based on commensurate experience and other qualifications.
