JOB REQUIREMENTS Education Licensed by Arkansas State Board of Nursing as a registered nurse. Experience Knowledge of hospital policies and procedures and patient care procedures. Physical Normal hospital environment. Exposure to biological hazards. Frequent exposure to unpleasant odors. Close eye work. Hearing of normal and soft tones. Distinguish smells. Distinguish temperatures by touch and proximity. May be exposed to airborne and infectious materials. Required to stand, walk, sit, push and pull, use fingers to handle, or feel objects, tools or controls. Reach with hands and arms. Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. JOB SUMMARY The hospitalist intensivist nurse collaborates with the hospitalist care team to coordinate and manage the process of patient care from the point of admission to the hospital, through discharge and hand-off to a community care provider.
