RN Interventional Procedure Days
An RN Interventional Procedure assists the interventional medical procedures by closely monitoring patient care and applying knowledge of healthcare best practices. Working under close supervision, this role helps to ensure patient safety and supports coordinated care efforts. When faced with complex challenges, the RN seeks advice from senior management

Applies knowledge of patient needs and conditions to deliver nursing care within the interventional unit to ensure that every patient receives the direct and proper care needed.
Assists with interventional procedures to ensure alignment with clinical guidelines and patient needs.
Supports patient care plans and clinical outcomes to enhance success rates in interventional procedures.
Supports medical teams to ensure seamless coordination and adherence to interventional protocols.
Amasses and reviews data that guides upper-level management on strategic planning and procedural outcomes.
Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:Required: Associate's Degree in Nursing
Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
EXPERIENCE:Required: 2 years as a Registered Nurse with 1 year in a critical care specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:Required:
Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state
BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
