Position Summary: 

The Registered Nurse works in a collaborative and cooperative relationship with other members of the health care team, plans and implements patient and family education and is responsible for assessing the needs and initiating appropriate intervention for patients.

Minimum Qualifications:

Montana Licensure (Registered Nurse)American Heart Association BLSNeonatal Resuscitation Program Provider required within 6 months of hire; (NRP recertification required every 2 years)Electronic Fetal Monitoring Series Certificate of Completion (or equivalent AWHONN approved course) required within 6 months of hire (Not required if a Lactation RN) (FHM recertification required every 2 years)American Heart Association ACLS required within 1 year of hire (Not required if a Lactation RN)Competence in and a willingness and ability to practice modified primary nursingTwo hours of initial cerebrovascular disease (stroke) education within one year of hireIf Lactation RN: Certification in lactation consulting/counseling (CLC, IBCLC)Preferred: One year labor and delivery experience
