Position Summary:

Wilson Medical Center, in Wilson, NC has an opening for a RN – Labor and Delivery. Each year, more than 800 babies are born at Wilson Medical Center. It is our goal to pay close attention to new moms, dads and babies. Our comfortable home-like atmosphere is the perfect place for you and your family to begin.

Our newly renovated Women's Pavilion features spacious, homelike rooms with private bathrooms for added comfort and privacy. We also have a new Cesarean delivery suite and nursery.

The L&D RN under the general supervision of the Director, and according to established policies and procedures, coordinates total nursing care for patients, participates in patient and family teaching, acts as a patient/family advocate, and works with other nursing and ancillary personnel to maintain standards for professional nursing practice. Work is of a very confidential nature. Performs other duties of the department as required.


Minimum Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.Current NC or multistate RN licensure required. BLSNRP required or must be obtained within 12 months from date of hireAt least 1 year L&D experience required
