RN Manager, Clinical Services-Medical Group

The Manager of Clinical Services is a leadership role responsible for the effective coordination and oversight of all clinical operations within the assigned medical group practices. This includes ensuring high standards of patient care, regulatory compliance, staff development, and alignment with the organization’s mission and strategic goals. This role will also function as a liaison between clinical teams and administrative leadership and will oversee quality improvement initiatives, clinical staffing, and service excellence. **Key Responsibilities** **Clinical Operations and Quality** + Maintain appropriate clinical staffing levels and support cross-functional daily operations. + Assist in clinical areas as needed to support workflow and care delivery. + Manage compliance with clinical policies, standards of care, and safety regulations. + Lead and coordinate quality improvement efforts to enhance patient outcomes, safety, and satisfaction. + Assess and improve clinical workflows to reduce cost and enhance efficiency without compromising quality. **Leadership and Staff Development** + Provide direct supervision, mentorship, and coaching for clinical staff including nurses, technicians, and patient support teams. + Conduct performance evaluations and support staff development through feedback, recognition, and career planning. + Identify learning needs and ensure clinical competency through training and development initiatives. + Facilitate conflict resolution and foster a positive and collaborative work environment. **Patient and Stakeholder Engagement** + Serve as a point of contact for patient concerns related to clinical services and work to resolve issues promptly and effectively. + Promote a culture of service excellence by modeling respectful, empathetic communication with patients, families, and colleagues. + Collaborate with physicians and technical staff to ensure seamless coordination of care. **Strategic Planning and Administration** + Partner with leadership in developing departmental goals aligned with organizational strategy. + Manage human resources functions including hiring, onboarding, counseling, and disciplinary actions. + Assist in preparation and monitoring of departmental operating and capital budgets. + Monitor metrics related to quality, service, and patient safety, and use data to guide improvement plans. **Minimum Qualifications** **Education** + Associate degree in nursing required. + Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) strongly preferred. **Licensure/Certification** + Current South Carolina Registered Nurse (RN) License required. + CPR certification required. **Experience** + Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in a medical office or outpatient setting. + Preferred 2–5 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership capacity. + Experience with financial and personnel management, process improvement, and customer service excellence.
