Job Summary

\n

The Nursing Catheter Lab Manager promotes a helpful work environment. Patients, families, and staff receive compassionate care. They plan, implement, and assess policies. Manage budgets and resources, oversee improvement, and organize educational programs. Additionally, they participate in governance councils to meet priorities. This role also involves providing nursing care.

\n

What You'll Do

\n\nFormulate and convey a clear plan for nursing procedures within your assigned area.\nInvolve supervisors and team members in establishing and achieving departmental priorities.\nEstablish a positive work atmosphere through shared management structures and processes that help research-based nursing protocol.\nEncourage team members' professional growth in areas of clinical and leadership skill.\nStay updated on research-based practices and leverage this knowledge in improving care standards.\nPromote a therapeutic surrounding for patients, their families, and the nursing staff.\nRepresent nursing staff in addressing the concerns of patients, families, and team members.\nFacilitate educational opportunities for patients and their families, nursing staff, and the community.\nIncorporate the organization's mission and goals into strategies for staff and patients.\nPassionately participate in governance and decision-making processes to enhance nursing procedures and workplace conditions.\n\n

What Will Make You Successful In The Role

\n\nHave a broad knowledge of the standards and procedures for nursing and patient care.\nBe aware of healthcare laws, regulations, accreditation standards, and hospital policies.\nCommunicate clearly and effectively in all forms, spoken or written.\nHave the ability to form helpful patient care strategies and modify them as needed to cater for diverse patient needs.\nBe able to make sensible recommendations regarding the distribution of resources to maintain quality and productivity standards.\nHave prior experience in handling operational management and guiding a team.\nDemonstrate sound judgment when assessing policies and establishing procedures.\nBe comfortable using general computer software, systems for healthcare management, and electronic documentation.\n\n

Qualifications

\n\nApplicants should hold a Bachelor's degree.\nA minimum of three years of experience in a similar nursing role is required for consideration.\nRequired certifications: ACLS, RN license, BLS. If not BLS certified, must be completed within 30 days of hire or transfer.\n
