Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements. Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire. Physical requirements/demands: Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform dutie Med Surg Units: 3A Medical Surgical with Telemetry- Trauma Surgical 3B Medical Surgical without Telemetry- General Surgical 3C Orthopedics Neurology with Telemetry 3D Medical Telemetry 4A Medical Surgical with Telemetry- Cardiac 4B Medical Surgical with Telemetry- Cardiac 4C Medical with Telemetry- Hospitalist/Non-Surgical 6B Medical Surgical with Telemetry- Medical 6C Medical Surgical with Telemetry- Neuro 7A Medical Surgical with Telemetry- Oncology 7B Medical Surgical with Telemetry- Renal 7D Medical Surgical with Telemetry- Observation Why work as a Med-Surg Nurse?
