RN Mobile Health Clinic - PRN Days

Living by these virtues, we pride ourselves on exceptional service and the highest quality of care. **Saint Alphonsus Health System is seeking** **an RN to join** **the Mobile** **Health** **Clinic Team** **!** In this role, you will provide professional nursing care in collaboration with members of a larger health care team in the ongoing assessment, planning and treatment of patients and families. You must utilize resources wisely while promoting physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being. This includes maintaining accurate and complete documentation of nursing services, and serving as a patient advocate. In addition to providing hands-on nursing care, you will work and serve in a broad range of capacities including, but not limited to, delegation, assessment, planning of care and treatment, teaching of the patient and the patient’s family. You will be expected to exercise competency in judgment, decision-making, implementation of nursing intervention, delegation of function or responsibility, and administration of medications and treatments prescribed by legally authorized persons. **About this clinic:** The mobile health unit recreates the environment of a Saint Alphonsus Medical Group clinic. Inside, patients will find a waiting area, restroom, private examination room and a mini-laboratory. The wheelchair accessible clinic on wheels is fully equipped so Saint Alphonsus medical teams can offer most of the services available at fixed primary care sites. In addition, the vehicle will bring numerous health and wellness services directly to healthcare consumers where they live, work and play. **Schedule:** We have 3-5 clinics per month. Current schedule: 4th Monday of the month 8am-4pm, 1st Tuesday of the month 8am-4pm 3rd Thursday of the month 10am-6pm. With a possible Saturday about once a month. We are also looking at adding additional days. **General Requirements:** + Nursing experience in an ambulatory setting preferred. **Education:** + An associate or bachelor's degree from a nursing program accredited by ACEN or CCNE **License/Certification:** + Must have an RN license in the state of Idaho issued prior to hire date. + Multistate licenses must establish residency with the Idaho Board of Nursing within 60 days from hire. + All colleagues must provide licensure or proof of application in process for an Oregon RN license within 90 days of the hire date. + Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire **HIGHLIGHTS** **AND** **BENEFITS** **:** When Saint Alphonsus takes care of you, you can take better care of our patients.
