RN Neuro Behavioral Nurse
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN Charge Nurse to join our 2023 5-star deficiency-free survey team with experience in behavior management and traumatic brain injury care. As an integral member of our healthcare team, you will provide specialized care to patients with neurological conditions, focusing on behavior management and support. Responsibilities: - Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients with neurobehavioral disorders, specifically those with traumatic brain injuries. - Develop and implement behavior management plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. - Monitor and document patient progress, and response to medical interventions. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols. - Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding the management of neurobehavioral symptoms and coping strategies. - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care. Requirements: - Valid RN license in Massachusetts. - Minimum 3-5 years of experience in neurobehavioral nursing, preferably with a focus on traumatic brain injury care. - Strong knowledge of behavior management techniques and interventions. - Previous charge nurse or leadership experience required - Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. - Strong knowledge of behavior management techniques and interventions. - Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team. - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. - Current BLS certification.
