Qualifications

For RN Office:

Minimum Qualifications:

Graduation from an accredited program of nursing

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

One of the following:Current Alabama RN licenseCurrent Multi State RN License in accordance with Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) for Alabama*

OR

 

For Clinic Nurse-LPN:

Minimum Qualifications:

Working knowledge of clinic procedures typically gained through education or on-the-job trainingBasic knowledge of electronic medical records 

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

One of the following:Current Alabama LPN licenseCurrent Multi State LPN license in accordance with Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) for Alabama*

BLS Responsibilities

Ensures continuity and quality of care by providing patient assessment and education, physician assistance, coordination of procedures and effective communication to achieve IHS's standards of quality, efficiency and desired outcomes.
