Adult Outpatient Programs provide the least restrictive level of care where adults may receive clinical interventions aimed at decreasing existing signs and symptoms. Outpatient treatment focuses on recovery, problem resolution, symptom reduction, stabilization and/or prevention of movement to a higher level of care. Treatment varies widely and depends upon the consumer’s presenting symptoms.
ResponsibilitiesCrisis outreach teams are responsible for responding to crisis calls and implementing the services of the crisis team, determining the level of response needed in crisis situations, ensuring medication compliance, and effectively collaborating with the treatment team members, law enforcement, emergency medical services, and outside sources in the delivery of clinical services.

There is frequent standing while getting files and paperwork.Sitting is frequent depending on what is needed for each consumer’s session; extended sitting could range from 30 minutes to 1 hour.Squatting and/or lunging to use proper body mechanics for getting records from bottom shelf of rolling cart.There is a need to walking various distances in the facility to call patients from lobby to treatment area.Light grasp and pinch grip is needed to take blood pressure, shake up vaccines and open doors to treatment area.Pushing and/or pulling force up to 1-5 pounds horizontally to open door to treatment area to bring consumers in and/or out.Fine manipulation and dexterity for writing, handling paperwork, computer keyboarding and/or entry, mouse usage, using security door keypad, and administering injections in clinic is frequent.Lifting 1-5 pounds from bottom level of rolling cart to waist level in order to handle consumer files, using the phone, stethoscope, and blood pressure cuff is required.Any other duties that are assigned by supervisor.
