Job Description
The RN Manager will perform a variety of clinical support tasks to assist providers in treating private patients in a bustling Manhattan Pediatric office. The workload involves approximately 150 patients daily. Our ideal candidate has a compassionate attitude coupled with an impeccable bedside manner, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
+ Manage, train, and schedule support staff, including LPNs and MAs.
+ Oversee operations at both practice locations.
+ Perform phlebotomy and handle heal and finger sticks.
+ Ensure efficient use of the electronic health record system, EClinicalWorks.
+ Conduct triage and patient care efficiently.
Essential Skills
+ Valid RN license in NYS.
+ Phlebotomy experience.
+ 1-3 years of pediatric experience.
+ Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) and EClinicalWorks.
+ RN management experience, ideally in a pediatric office.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Ability to work under stress.
+ Experience performing vital signs and lab tests.
Work Environment
The position requires working in a very busy pediatric office with approximately 150 patients per day. The work hours vary from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, 9 AM to 5 PM, or 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Candidates must also be available to work rotationally on weekends, both Saturday and Sunday from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Benefits include 2 weeks of PTO, medical, dental, and 401K, with opportunities for overtime hours
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $60.00/hr.
