100% FTE, 8/10 hour day/night shift with hours between 8:30am-8:30pm. No weekends, holidays or on-call. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. You will be working at University Hospital.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to: 

Provide care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric perioperative patients and their families. Evaluate patient’s responses to care based on effectiveness of nursing interventions/actions in relationship to established goals.

Qualifications Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) Required Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred Work Experience 6 months of RN experience Required Experience working pre/post operatively with varied surgical patient populations Preferred Emergency nursing, critical care, medical/surgical, or ambulatory surgery center experience Preferred Moderate sedation and cardiac monitoring experience Preferred 1 year or more of RN experience Preferred Licenses & Certifications Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state(s) where patients are receiving care or may work as eligible per state licensing regulations Upon Hire Required Basic Life Support/CPR Upon Hire Required Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion UW Health is committed to being a diverse, equitable, inclusive and anti-racist workplace and is an Equal Employment Opportunity, Affirmative Action employer.
