The Registered Nurse works within the framework of the philosophy and objectives of Radiology and Nursing Service. The policies and procedures of the hospital, Nursing Service and Radiology will be adhered to. The Registered Nurse will be accountable to the North Carolina Nurse Practice Act. Will interview, educate and assess Radiology patients; assist radiologists by monitoring of invasive procedures; administer drugs; start IV’s; order supplies; catheterize patients for VCUG’s; etc.
