Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team. Is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization. Also performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned. Required Experience includes 1 year acute care experience or 1 year interventional / procedural experience or 6 months RN acute care or interventional / procedural experience with prior LPN experience and completed competency assessment. Preferred Experience includes 1 year Interventional/Perioperative Internship.
