Your problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and clinical expertise will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional care in urgent situations. Responsibilities Responsibilities Problem Solving: Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills to address emergent patient needs efficiently. Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members. Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments and interventions. Assessment: Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify urgent medical needs. Prioritization: Prioritize patient care activities based on acuity and urgency. Risk Assessment: Assess and mitigate potential risks to patient safety. Equipment Operation: Demonstrate proficiency in operating medical equipment in emergency settings. Skill Proficiency: Maintain competency in emergency nursing skills. Teamwork: Collaborate closely with physicians and ancillary staff. Initiative: Take initiative to identify opportunities for process improvement. Qualifications Minimum one year Emergency Department or Critical Care experience preferred. PALS within 6 month required TNCC within 1 year required Competencies Skills Essential: * Experience In Hospital Or Acute Care Setting * Clear Communication Skills Both Written And Verbal * Able To Keep Confidential Information Regarding Patients, Team Members * Able To Withstand Crisis Situations * Has Skills To Provides Customer Service To Patients, Team Members And Visitors * Knowledge And Experience With Electronic Health Records Credentials Essential: * RN - Registered Nurse * BLS - Basic Life Saving certification * ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support * NIH - Stroke Certification Nonessential: * BABY Certification-15 Hrs Online, 5 Hrs Observation Education Essential: * RN Diploma/RN Graduate Program Other Information Entry USD $36.20/Hr. Expert USD $59.73/Hr.
