Position Description: RN 

The Clinical Nurse I responsibilities include:  

Cares for a group of patients with minimum supervision applying the nursing process and clinical standards 

Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team. 

Responsible for professional accountability and seeks opportunities to develop.

Requirements: 

Certifications and Licensures:  

BLS (Basic Life Support)  

RN (Registered Nurse)  

ACLS (Cardiovascular) if required by department  

Preferred Nurse Specialty  

Education:  

Associate's Nursing or Diploma Nursing  

Preferred Bachelor's Nursing  

Experience:  

Required6 months RN Acute Care experience or 3 months RN Acute Care experience with prior LPN experience and completed competency assessment 

Or Registered Nurse with greater than 6 months of experience and most recent experiences is not in the hospital setting(e.g., home health care, assistant living facility, skilled nursing facility, doctors’ office or private duty setting). 

Location: Mease Dunedin Hospital

Status: Full Time, Exempt: No

Shift Hours: 7:00am - 7:00pm

Weekend Work: Every Other

On Call: No
