Summary:

The Operating Room RN responsibilities include: 

RN independently cares for a sub-specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standardsRN delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care teamRN is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization RN also preforms the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned

For this position, we strongly prefer at least 1 year Operating Room experience as an RN.

 Certifications and Licensures: 

BLS (Basic Life Support) RN (Registered Nurse) ACLS (Cardiovascular) if required by department Preferred Nurse Specialty (CNOR)

 Education: 

Associate's Nursing or Nursing DiplomaPreferred Bachelor's Nursing

Experience: 

Required includes 1 years acute care experience or 1 years Interventional/Procedural experience or 6 months RN acute care or Interventional/Procedural experience with prior LPN experience and completed competency assessmentPreferred Experience includes 1 year Interventional/Perioperative Internship
