Located at UW Medicine office at Boeing Field, with a hybrid opportunity for partial work in office, and partial from home. UW Medicine is a world-class academic health system. Every day and around the clock, the UW Medicine Transfer Center works with physicians and transport staff to facilitate rapid and safe transfers of patients with emergent or urgent illness or injury from healthcare facilities in the WWAMI region (Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana and Idaho) into UW Medicine Facilities. Under general direction, provide patient care and coordination of services through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of safe therapeutic care. Job Responsibilities: Coordinating with referring hospitals to safely transfer patients into UW Medicine facilities. Coordinates with UW Medicine providers to transfer patients between UW Medicine facilities.
