**Registered Nurse (RN) Transfer Center, Behavioral Health**

**Work location:** Texas Health Transfer Center, 612 E. Lamar Blvd., Arlington, TX 76011
**Work hours:** Full time nights with rotating weekends and holidays

**Here’s What You Need**
+ Associates Degree in Nursing required
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
+ 2 years ICU, ER or Behavioral Health required or
+ 5 years other direct patient care nursing experience required
+ RN upon hire required
+ BCLS prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required
**What You Will Do**
+ Facilitates behavioral health transfers throughout the THR system and from other healthcare facilities.
+ Completes nurse to nurse reports and documents appropriately.
+ Receives, reviews, and documents crisis clinician assessment requests then deploys assessors within department standards.
+ Works closely with entity behavioral health directors and doctors to assure proper placements of patients.
+ Builds relationships with all stakeholder groups involved in behavioral health transfers including physicians and promotes the center to potential referral resources.
