Our services include specialized pelvic floor rehabilitation, surgical and nonsurgical urologic care, and minimally invasive ultrasonic treatments. **POSITION HIGHLIGHTS** + Our clinic is growing! This is a newly-created position + Join a dynamic, growing outpatient team + Training will be provided to experienced RNs who are new to the field of urology **PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES** + Provides support during urodynamics testing + Performs outpatient urology clinic procedures such as foley catheter placements, suprapubic catheter exchanges, and bladder instillations + Administers specialty medications + Educates patients and their families on urologic symptom management, pre-operative teaching, and post-operative care + Answers patient calls and eCare messages + Follows up on medical records and test results + Assists with coordination of care and continuity of care process as part of the healthcare team **REQUIREMENTS** + 2 years of recent nursing work experience in a hospital or an outpatient clinic + Active licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in Washington State + BLS **ABOUT UW MEDICAL CENTER-NORTHWEST** UW Medical Center is an acute care hospital located in Seattle with two campuses: Montlake and Northwest.
