ResponsibilitiesYour Role:
Support the Administrator in providing oversight to the facility and serve as an Ambassador to the assisted living programs.Lead and supervise care givers and LPN staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and regulatory compliance.Manages all areas of the Medication roomEnsures payroll is accurate for nursesProvides oversight for nursing treatments in the facilityParticipates in screenings for residents for admissionsOversees and assists in calls for doctors in reference to orders, pharmacy, diets, reviews test results, and follows up as necessary. Reviews Physician orders with medication administration records monthly, oversees match back of med carts to MARS weekly, reviews monthly ADL orders for accuracyMaintains schedules for visiting Physicians and coordinates appointments for elders.Completes monthly and comprehensive assessmentsUpdates and coordinates care plans with the Director Care Coordination. Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to nursing staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.Qualifications
Current RN license issued by the State Board of Nursing
Assisted Living Cat. II License preferredTwo years of nursing leadership experience in a long term care and assisted living facility
Must successfully complete DETA brain series, CPR, and First Aid Training
Strong verbal and written communication skills, and a commitment to quality care
Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities is a plus
