Our Mission Control and Virtual Hospital departments here at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health are on the leading edge of healthcare innovation, employing novel care models and technology to serve patients across the Puget Sound region and beyond. Teams within these departments include the transfer center, staffing office, centralized bed control, clinical expeditor, physician on duty, virtual ICU, virtual hospitalist, cardiac monitoring, virtual companion, nurse consulting, and contact center operations.
This team is searching for a Supervisor who wants to work part time yet still looking to be engaged in a collaborative, cross functional team helping ensure operations run efficiently when the Administrator or Department Director is unavailable.

What we are looking for in a great team member:
An understanding of the importance of excellent communication between cross functional teams and the impact it makes to the delivery of safe patient careAbility to work weekend days or weekend night shiftsWillingness to travel between sites in Tacoma and Gig Harbor during most shiftsCompletion of an Associate Degree in Nursing and clinical work experience as a Registered Nurse which includes a minimum of two years recent work experience in a supervisory, management or other healthcare leadership capacityHas current licensure by the Washington State Board of Nursing and current healthcare provider BLS Certification
