What you'll do:

Ensure Scripps patients and their families have an exceptional health care experience.Provides direct patient care to high acuity patients in a complex department within the scope of practice.Engages in complex clinical procedures and may provide clinical assessments to surgical patients in the hospital setting.Patient care includes compliance with patient assessments and care tasks, triaging, completion of clinical procedures, emergency protocols and medication administration.Works collaboratively with the other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.

Required Qualifications:

Registered Nursing Degree from an Accredited School of NursingActive California RN licenseAmerican Heart Association BLS, ACLS and PALS Healthcare Provider CertificationsBe able to speak, read and follow instructions in EnglishHave excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrate positive behaviors

Preferred Qualifications:

1 year of recent adult emergency services experienceBachelor’s degree in nursingCEN – Certified Emergency NursingRecent and/or extensive ED experience as an RN
