Position Purpose:
The Registered Nurse Specialty positions are responsible for care in an atmosphere sensitive to each person's physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs within the scope of the Ohio Nurse Practice Act. The Registered Nurse functioning in the spirit of teamwork is accountable for the delivery of patient care utilizing the Nursing Process within the standards, procedures and guidelines of the Organization.Specialty: CardiologyLocation: 5300 North Meadows Drive, Building 1, Suite 280, Grove City, Ohio 43123Hours of office: Monday through Friday 8:00am – 4:30pmWhat You Will Do:
Performs as liaison between cardiology ( the specialty ) physicians, nurses, patients, families and other treating disciplines.Educates and instructs patients/families on continuity of care, procedures and/ or medications.Provide clinical in-basket oversight and coverage via Epic.Act as a resource for new Medical Assistants (clinical staff)Handle sample medication tracking/monitoring/distribution.Complete prior authorizationsMinimum Qualifications:
· Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
· Licensure / Certification: In good standing with a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio
· Experience: Registered Nurse 2 years of experience is require. One year experience in a medical office preferred
· Demonstrates the ability to plan, organize and manage patient care, including delegation to and supervision of other members of the patient care team
