Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) -Substance Abuse Treatment Facility

Location: Black Mountain, NC

Employment Type: Full-Time Contract – 13weeks (likely extension opportunities)

Shift/Sched:

days6:45am-7:15pm

nights6:45p-7:15a

36/48rotation – every other weekend required 

 

Job Description: We are seeking adedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The RN willplay a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our patients, ensuringtheir safety, and supporting their recovery process. The ideal candidate willhave experience in substance abuse treatment and a strong commitment topatient-centered care.

 

Responsibilities:

Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed. Provide education and support to patients and their families. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records. Participate in staff meetings and ongoing training.

 

Qualifications:

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in NC or multi-state equivalent. Minimum of 1 years of nursing experience, preferably in substance abuse treatment or behavioral health. Strong clinical skills and knowledge of addiction treatment protocols. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
