IU Health is on the lookout for a dedicated RN Supervisor who is committed to driving exceptional patient care. This important position will support our Urgent Care and Occupational Health facility in Bloomington, IN. You will collaborate closely with the Practice Manager to lead a dedicated team of 10-15 support staff in a busy environment that serves approximately 100 patients daily.

Your responsibilities will include delivering and coordinating high-quality, evidence-based care throughout the patient care continuum, encompassing assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will also take a leading role in managing nursing practices, clinical care delivery, and personnel oversight, ensuring optimal staffing and resource allocation while maintaining clinic operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage clinical operations and workflow at the urgent care facility, serving as a Subject Matter Expert, fostering team engagement and competency, and enhancing patient experience Effectively coordinate patient care activities with a focus on timely and high-quality service Stay informed about the legal implications regarding patient care and nursing responsibilitiesQualifications:
Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies. Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN). Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred. Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license. Two years experience preferred. Knowledge of procedures for performing the functions appropriate to the specific clinical area and familiarity with designated pieces of equipment and supplies. Requires ability to coordinate a number of functions for a group of patients in an effective timely manner. Requires awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse.
