Provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Will be responsible for selecting, preparing and placing instruments and supplies in a specified order. Scrubbing for procedures as a scrub nurse/scrub tech/assistant. Will be responsible for identifying, disassembling, decontaminating, inspecting, assembling and processing of all reusable supplies and patient care equipment used in the hospital. Reports to: Director Surgical Services Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment.
