Provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Will be responsible for selecting, preparing and placing instruments and supplies in a specified order. Scrubbing for procedures as a scrub nurse/scrub tech/assistant. Will be responsible for identifying, disassembling, decontaminating, inspecting, assembling and processing of all reusable supplies and patient care equipment used in the hospital.

Minimum Education

American Heart Association or American Red Cross Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire or must be obtained within 90 days of employment, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within 12 months of employment
Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) required within 12 months of employment

Registered Nurse
Current TN or Multi-State RN licensure
