Find whole-person care, dedicated teams and staff, and a wide variety of medical services, all at our hospital in Shawnee Mission, Kansas. **The role you’ll contribute:** The RN Surgery Scheduler is responsible for scheduling Surgical and Endoscopy patients in the Epic Scheduling Module; obtaining and entering accurate insurance information; answering incoming phone calls; transcribing physician orders and sending to appropriate departments. **The value you’ll bring to the team:** Advanced computer skills. Competence with Epic Scheduling module. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, balance and reconcile figures, punctuate properly, spell correctly and transcribe accurately. Communicates clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing. Ability to work effectively with other employees, physician offices and external parties. Establishes and maintains long-term customer relationships, building trust and respect by consistently meeting and exceeding expectations.
