What you will do:
Preform Primary nursing care for patients undergoing Orthopedic, Vascular, GI, GU, GYN surgeries • Assessments, medication administration (Pyxis and Omnicell), wound care, management of lines/ drains/ tubes • Monitor patient progress, laboratory values, vital signs, symptoms, telemetry/ EKG readings • Patient and family education • Collaboration with physicians, PT, OT, case managers, nursing assistants, and various health care team members to achieve optimal patient care • Documentation of patient care, medication administration, care team communication through electronic medical records EPIC system.

Current CA RN LicenseOne (1) year of recent RN experience.Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS Certification.Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English.Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors.Preferred Qualifications:
Two (2) years RN experience in Acute, Long Term Care preferred.Previous acute RN experience.Bachelor's degree in Nursing.Required Qualifications:
