RN Surgical Services Lead
Promotes a work environment conducive to harmonious work relationships and high staff morale. Holds regular nursing staff meetings to promote communication and information sharing. Acts as a nurse role model in all activities within the nursing unit. Identifies work related goals for new nursing staff and develop strategies for achievement. Understands, promotes and helps to update practice manuals and preference cards relating to nursing and clinical services. Ensures that all registered nurses know and understand the procedures for documenting health records. Ensures that the appropriate health assessments are conducted in accordance with the professional and company standards. Coordinates the scheduling, preference card updates, equipment, and instrumentation for the surgical procedures of their specialty. Ensures necessary documentation is completed in conjunction with the Manager. Identifies work related goals for surgical procedures. Registered nurse BSN, RN with a current license in state of practice. Minimum of 2 years nursing experience. Current (validated within the last 12 months) CPR and / or Advanced Life Support certification. GYN, Urology, and Robotic experience preferred.
