Position Highlights:
Position: Registered Nurse Triage - OB/GYN
Hourly Pay Range: $29.33 - $52.64. The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate’s expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
Location: Naperville, IL (1220 Hobson Road)
Part Time: 24 hours / week
Hours: Monday-Friday
What you will do:
Under the direction of the Supervisor, the Triage Nurse is a Registered Nurse (RN) responsible for patient care needs through the use of inbound and outbound telephone practice. The Triage Nurse continuously demonstrates positive customer relationship skills by assessing caller needs through active listening, clinical assessment, education and advanced problem-solving abilities. The Triage Nurse will actively manage patient's immediate and ongoing needs with attention to acute and preventative intervention. Duties include: phone triage, patient education and Continuous Glucose Monitor placement, testing, insurance pre-authorization and referrals, occasional rooming of patients, RN visits - injections, staple removal and wound checks, surgery/procedure scheduling, clean and stock exam rooms.
What you will need:
Current Illinois RN licensure
Current CPR for Healthcare Providers
BSN preferred
Prior work experience in a OBGYN setting is highly preferred. 2 years of strong clinical RN experience preferred, and at least one year of work experience in a Physician's Office is also highly preferred.
Able to lift up to 40 lbs. and carry/push up to 20 lbs.
Able to effectively communicate in English, both written & verbal
EMR experience preferred, with strong typing skills necessary
