Responsibilities Leads daily operations of assigned unit to ensure quality service in accordance with current nursing standards of practice, FutureCare policies and procedures and State and Federal regulations.Oversees day-day care and maintain restorative health for our residentsDevelops and implements resident care plans as neededEvaluates, prioritizes, and meets the care needs of each residentSupervise, counsel, and manages performance when necessary, to nurse staff to ensure the highest quality care possibleCollaborates with Director of Nursing and Physicians to plan and maintain resident careIdentifies procedural problems and works with the Director of Nursing to resolve issuesSupervises and directs all clinical aspects of nursing practice and engage in all clinical activitiesActs as a main point of contact between residents and their families and addresses and prevents concerns that may arisePerforms audits and completes charting, evaluations, medical forms, and other administrative tasks Qualifications Must hold an active Registered Nurse license issued in the state of Maryland Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university strongly preferred1- 3 years of managerial experience and proven leadership skills a plusPrevious experience caring for residents in an acute or long-term health care facilityMust possess a current CPR licenseEqual Opportunity Employer
