Additional requirements include: · Successful completion of PICC insertion program · Minimum of 6 months PICC insertion experience · American Heart Association Basic Life Support · American Heart Association ACLS, preferred *Department/Unit Summary* The Vascular Access Nurse at Sovah Health Danville is responsible for inserting, troubleshooting, and assessing vascular access devices, such as PICC lines, midlines, and ultrasound guided peripheral IVs.
