**Overview** M Health Fairview has an immediate opening for an RN to join our team at the M Health Fairview Surgical Specialties - Wyoming Lakes Clinic. Join M Health Fairview, the largest healthcare system in the state! The M Health Fairview Wyoming Lakes Surgical Specialties Clinic is a growing and collaborative clinic. Our clinic hours are 8AM to 4:30PM Monday - Friday, so no evenings, weekends, or holidays! This provides an excellent work life balance! This is a .9 FTE (72 hours per two week pay period), MNA Minnesota Nurses Association Union role. This role covers multiple specilaty clinics. **Responsibilities Job Description** The Registered Nurse performs both independent nursing and delegated medical function. The independent nursing includes assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care for assigned patient population(s). The delegated medical function includes participation in and coordination of delegated patient care to other health care team members. The RN is responsible for performing these functions in accordance with all policy, procedure, and professional practice guidelines. Competencies: Assesses patient needs and identifies expected nursing outcomes. Delivers care as delegated by physician/authorized practitioner to assigned patient population, or individual patient. Implements nursing interventions based on plan of care. Evaluates care and the patient’s response to interventions and expected outcomes. Uses communication strategies to achieve desirable outcomes. Demonstrates ability to provide care or service adjusting approaches to reflect developmental level and cultural differences of population served.
