Job Summary:
The RNC Account Manager serves as the primary point of contact between the company and the builder regarding concerns and needs. This role is tasked with building new and strengthening existing builder relationships to achieve long-term customer partnerships.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Acts as the main point of contact for all builder matters, concerns and needs. Builds and strengthens client relationships to achieve long-term partnerships Maintains accurate builder records, keeping track of any contract updates and renewals as required Develops a thorough understanding of our products and service offerings to better upsell and cross-sell to clients Takes inquiries and requests from builders to address service needs Stays on top of accounts, making sure they’re receiving services that are within their budget and meeting their needs Meets regularly with other members of the team to discuss progress and find new ways to improve service to builders Generates progress reports to give to Sales Manager and leadership Identify upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities and communicate with the sales team regularly Keeps management informed on competitive positions and action as well provide feedback on competitive positioning Keeps Senior Management informed of activities and progress toward established sales goals & objectives Completes required reports and related documents promptly and accurately. Ensure the accuracy of all reports and accounting records Continually searches for ways to improve results and effectiveness. Follows all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to safety Other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
1+ years of sales or related experience High school diploma or GED Intermediate computer skills and able to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) Must be able to communicate in English effectively, both verbally and in writing Excellent verbal and written communication skills Valid driver's license required Ability to work overtime with little notice; weekend hours may occasionally be required.
Preferred Qualifications:
3-5 years of sales experience within a construction/HVAC or home services environment Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and receiving positive feedback

Working Conditions:
Partial time spent in an open office environment May be exposed to construction environments involving equipment, elevated work areas, confined spaces, noise, dust, hazardous materials and odors Fast-paced environment Travel by vehicle to and from work locations Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors, exposed to all weather conditions (including heat, rain, cold and wind) while wearing appropriate PPE
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift/move up to 20 pounds frequently Frequently performs tasks requiring bending at the waist, kneeling or crouching Must be able to drive and operate a motorized passenger vehicle or forklift Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to hard hat, safet glasses, ear plugs, masks/respirators, reflective safety vests, gloves and safety toe, construction-grade work boots Must be able to adhere to long periods of standing, walking or sitting Ability to hear, understand and distinguish speech and/or other sounds to operate phones or other equipment safely. With natural or corrected vision, able to see and focus for close, distance, peripheral vision with normal depth perception Ability to express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word to impart oral information to others Ability to enter text or data into a computer by means of a traditional keyboard or 10-key numeric keypad Must be able to use arms and hands to reach overhead, signal, grab, hold, lift, turn, push and pull objects and tools
