Job Description

We are looking for a Group Leader Product Development T&B of commercial Truck & Bus tires within the framework of production planning according to quality, cost, complexity, and timing goals.

You will be responsible to support the industrialization of new, transferred products and validated new technologies; to ensure high quality products and drive new portfolio development in cooperation with Product Management and the markets and to build up market understanding knowledge and support of feasibility studies.

Will be also your responsibilities to lead, to develop and to coach tire developer engineers in technical matters and project set up.

Responsibility for product development of Truck-Bus Radial tires products worldwide including APAC.

  

QualificationsMechanical engineering or comparable scientific or engineering education / backgroundSolid Project Management experienceDesirable experience in R&D function (>3 years) in Project leading experienceLeadership Experience (preferable)Engineering understanding and judgementTruck tire market understanding (preferable)Intercultural competency along with clear and open communication abilities that support the growth of diversityStrong problem-solving ability as well as strength to bring topics forwardAnalytical and structured thinkingHigh customer focus and excellent interface management competenceCapability to lead cross functional teamsSolid computer skills and Office tools.Fluent English language skills (written and spoken);Availability for travelling internationally.
