You will have a primary focus on setting up, developing, testing, and monitoring automated workflows to ensure that business processes function at optimum efficiency without risk of error. This position will put you charge of monitoring and maintaining automation post-implementation and resolving any potential issues to ensure smooth business operations. Producing Process documentation to outline mistakes and successes, as well as refining processes going forward are key skills for successful candidates.

HOW A ROBOTIC PROCESS AUTOMATION (RPA) DEVELOPER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

Setting up, developing, testing, and monitoring automated workflows to ensure that business processes function at optimum efficiency without risk of errorMonitoring and maintaining automation post-implementation and resolving any potential issues to ensure smooth business operationsProducing process documentation in order to outline mistakes and successes and refine processes going forwardEnsuring quality automation using Quality Assurance (QA) processes and prevent any potential bugsArchitect and develop solutions from business requirementsCollaborate with business stakeholders to improve and automate business workflows

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education:

BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field

Required Experience:

5+ years of experience as professional programmer or web developer2+ years of Microsoft Power Automate Desktop development experience

Required Technical Skills:

Hands on RPA and system integration experienceProficiency in Microsoft Power Automate Desktop softwareSolid understanding of Microsoft Power Automate Desktop implementationExperience developing an RPA bot to insert data into a UIProficiency in programming languages, such as C, C++, Java, Python or .NETExperience with databases, such as SQL Server or OracleStrong testing skillsStrong debugging and troubleshooting skillsExcellent documentation of workAbility to architect a bot designAbility to communicate well with both technical and non-technical team membersStrategic planning skills, to include the design, development, and implementation of RPA systems.Results-oriented, independent worker in need of minimal supervisionExperience developing solutions that span multiple Office365 services (e.g., SharePoint, Outlook, Graph API, One Note, One Drive, etc.)Experience with PowerApps integration with Azure API Apps, Azure Logic apps, Azure Functions and REST servicesExperience migrating business processes (InfoPath forms and SharePoint Designer workflows) to PowerApps and Power AutomateAbility to multi-task and effectively support competing priorities

Required Skills and Abilities:

Experience working in a government context or with government customersAttention to detail and creating clarity when dealing with ambiguityAbility to work cross functionally in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environmentStrong analytical skillsExperience in an Agile environment working with tools such as MS DevOpsExperience with the Microsoft Power Platform suite of tools, including AI Builder and Power Virtual Agents

Security Clearance Level:

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust and successfully pass a thorough Government background screening process requiring the completion of detailed forms and fingerprintingThis position has a U.S. residency requirement. The USPS security clearance process requires the selected candidate to have resided in the U.S. (including U.S. Territories) for the last five years as follows: U.S. Citizens cannot have left the U.S. (including U.S. Territories) for longer than 6 months consecutively in the last 3 years (unless they meet certain exceptions). Non-U.S. Citizens cannot have left the U.S. (including U.S. Territories) for longer than 90 days consecutively in the last 3 years.
