As a Robotics Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing and optimizing the electronic systems that power our robots. You'll handle circuit design, sensor integration, and PCB development to create reliable, high-performance solutions that bring our robotic concepts to life. Key responsibilities: + Develop and test electronic systems, including sensor arrays, motor controllers, and embedded hardware + Design and layout PCBs for robotic applications, ensuring performance and scalability + Integrate electronic components with mechanical and software systems for full functionality + Troubleshoot hardware issues and implement design improvements during development cycles + Research and evaluate new technologies to enhance robotic system performance + Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate Qualifications to be successful in the role: + Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or a similar field + Practical experience with circuit design and PCB development + Familiarity with microcontrollers, sensors, and embedded systems + Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills for electronic hardware + Team-oriented mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities Employment Type: + Independent contractor position + 40 hours per week Work Location: Subic Bay Freeport Zone, Zambales Why Planate?
