Job Description
Candidates will be performing repairs and upgrades on robots returning from the field. They should have strong electro-mechanical aptitude and are expected to perform electrical wiring and mechanical work on the bots. The role involves upgrading and troubleshooting robots to ensure parts and repairs are functioning properly.
ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot, diagnose, and repair damaged equipment and botsMechanically assemble and troubleshoot robotsAssist in the development and/or selection of diagnostic test and troubleshooting tools, devices, and fixturesAssist with the development of test procedures and maintain good housekeeping of tools, equipment, and repair areaDevelop proposals for equipment purchase, maintenance, and operation instructionsEssential Skills5+ years of experience with mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly and troubleshootingAbility to read blueprints and complex mechanical drawingsExperience in a manufacturing environmentProficiency in troubleshooting robots and electrical systemsAdditional Skills & Qualifications4 or more years of mechanical assembly experienceTechnician experience in mechanical and electrical fieldsAutomotive knowledge is a plusSelf-motivated and highly organizedAbility to lift 35 pounds and stand for long periods of timeUnderstanding of various types of mechanical and/or electrical test equipmentAbility to read and interpret specifications, wiring diagrams, and part printsDemonstrates initiative and self-motivationExperience with cabling and upgradesWhy Work Here?
