Job Summary

Assist IFF on-site Engineers in capital project implementation, data analysis and continuous improvement activities .

Complete process safety reviews, chemical / liquid / vapor piping and instrument diagram reviews, along with pump, valve and instrumentation requirements.

Continuous Improvement in process safety, product quality and production rate in the drive for Operations Excellence.

Assist Technical Engineers with data analysis of process bottlenecks to determine root causes to improve overall efficiency. Provide datasheets and appropriate improvement plans.

Conduct Design of Experiment studies utilizing process data and appropriate calculations to determine best practices or best methods.

Monitor real-time process data of pump, valve and flow performance to determine trends in fluctuating rates, assisting in troubleshooting to improve product rate performance.

Participate in Cross Functional teams aimed at improving Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost initiatives for the business.

Perform studies of chemical, fuel and media additives to determine if reductions in usage can be achieved to help meet cost targets.

Participate in process safety assessments and Management of Change (MOC) on current site projects.

Conduct brief technical presentations and status updates on assigned tasks.
