Quanex is looking for a Roll Form Operator to join our team located in Arlington, Texas.

In this role, you will run the rollform mill at the expected rate while producing a high-quality part that meets the customer’s requirements.

Hours of Operation: 6 am to 2:30 pm (may extend to 3:30pm) Weekends off!

What Success Looks Like:

Runs and packs product at a predetermined rate. Operates hoist. Loads and Unloads coils by use of forklift. Thread’s mill. Performs quality checks. Performs basic troubleshooting. Changes pre-cut dies. Performs associated paperwork including daily job scrap reporting. Operates mill computer. Follow all safety procedures, rules and guidelines; and notify supervisor/team lead of any existing or potential safety issues Responsible for attending work on time and for scheduled hours each day. Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.

What You Bring:  

Ability to use of the following measuring instruments:  dial calipers, micrometers, tape measure, and feeler gauge set.  Additional tools that may be used:  basic hand tools and torque wrench. Ability to learn and use the following equipment:  roll forming mill, servo feed, flying cut off saw, post cut press, staple guns, decoilers, and floor jacks. Mechanical aptitude required.

The salary range for this position goes from $16.50 to $19 per hour, depending on experience.
