Position Roller Compactor Operator Location Reko Diq Mine Site – Balochistan Qualification Certification or training in heavy equipment operation. Experience At least 4 years of experience operating roller compactors, preferably in mining, construction, or road-building projects. Requirements Proficiency in operating different types of roller compactors, such as smooth drum, padfoot, and tandem rollers. Strong understanding of soil types, compaction techniques, and materials. Ability to identify and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues in the equipment. Familiarity with safety guidelines for operating heavy machinery in industrial and mining environments. Physical fitness and the ability to work long hours in outdoor and remote conditions. Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors. Responsibilities Operate roller compactors to compact soil, asphalt, and other materials in compliance with project specifications and safety standards. Inspect the roller compactor before and after operations to ensure it is in proper working condition. Monitor compaction levels during operations and adjust settings as needed to achieve desired results. Perform routine maintenance, such as cleaning and lubricating parts, to ensure the smooth functioning of the machine. Report any mechanical issues or malfunctions to the maintenance team promptly. Work closely with other operators, site supervisors, and engineers to coordinate activities and ensure efficient site operations. Adhere to RDMC safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment. Keep daily logs of work completed, equipment usage, and any incidents or delays encountered. Ensure proper loading and transportation of the roller compactor to various work locations within the SITE.
