The Hotel Housekeeping Room Attendant play a critical role in the overall guest experience by preparing guestrooms that are clean, comfortable, well maintained and serviced according to company specifications.

Duties And Responsibilities
Projects a positive image Greets all guests Cleans up to 15 room credits per shift Re-stocks guestroom amenities Re-stocks supplies in housekeeping carts Segregates dirty or damaged linen and terry items Recovers lost-and-found items Disseminates information to guests regarding the property, hotel, promotions, etc. Performs turndown service (2nd shift) Performs routine maintenance on vacuum cleaner Keeps storage areas and carts clean and orderly Works safe by observing safety rules and wears proper equipment Other duties & responsibilities as assignedJob Requirements (Please Ensure You Meet The Listed Requirements Prior To Applying)
High School diploma or GED required or currently enrolled and successfully complete a GED program within six (6) months from start date as a condition of continued employment Must be nineteen (19) years of age or older Good verbal communication skills required (skills test will be administered)- required Six (6) month’s experience as a room attendant in a hotel/resort- preferred Must be able to lift and carry up to fifty (50) lbs Ability to work in areas containing dust or on high floor; occasionally kneels, climbs, and crawls to work in difficult positions Must successfully pass job interview, including a guest service audition Must be able to stand and walk for entire shift Must be able to work effectively in a fast paced, high volume environment Must be able to operate standard office equipment – phones, computers, etc. Must be in good physical condition and able to pass a physical fitness test if administered Willing and able to work odd or irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays Willing to travel and participate in training as recommended or required Must have an Occupational License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) pursuant to the Illinois Gaming Act and remain in good standing with the Illinois Gaming Board as a requirement for this positionOnline applications are accepted at www.windcreekhospitality.com/Careers.
