Salary: £50,000 gross per annum (Overtime available if covering other chauffeur’s annual leave)
Job Summary:
A family based in London are looking for a chauffeur to work on a rota basis alongside another chauffeur providing transportation services You will be required to work on 7 days on call and 7 days off basis. The family do have a second home near High Wycombe and when they are staying there you will be required to stay over at the estate and provide driving services there The family own a Mercedes V Class and BMW 7 Series Food allowance provided if required to work beyond 20:00Job specification:
Chauffeuring Services: Safely and punctually transport family members and their guests to various locations, including business meetings, social events, airports, and personal appointments. Always ensure a smooth and comfortable travel experience Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness, appearance, and optimal functioning of the assigned vehicles. Perform routine inspections, maintenance checks, and report any mechanical issues promptly. Coordinate with the appropriate departments to schedule servicing and repairs Security Awareness: Maintain a high level of awareness and discretion, implementing necessary security protocols to ensure the safety and privacy of the family members and their guests during transportation Schedule Management: Efficiently manage the family’s daily transportation schedule, including planning routes, considering traffic patterns, and coordinating with personal assistants and household staff to ensure timely arrivals and departures Personal Assistance: Provide additional support to the family as needed, which may include running errands, managing personal appointments, and assisting with other tasks as assigned Day-to-day would drive principles/family to office, appointments, events, errand runs and special requests, and drop-offs. Including school runs at the beginning/end of the day, after-school activities as required, after work events Confidentiality: Exercise the utmost discretion and maintain strict confidentiality regarding all matters related to the family, their business affairs, and personal information Knowledge and Compliance: Stay updated with relevant traffic regulations, safety guidelines, and security protocols. The successful candidate will have a strong background in chauffeuring high-profile clients and will be responsible for ensuring safe and comfortable transportation for the family members and their guests. This role requires a high level of discretion, professionalism, and exceptional driving skills Professional Experience: Extensive experience as a chauffeur, preferably with UHNW or high-profile clients. Demonstrated experience working in a similar capacity within a private household is highly desirable Clean Driving Record: Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Familiarity with London’s road network, traffic patterns, and the ability to navigate efficiently is essential Professionalism and Discretion: Exhibit the highest level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality in all aspects of the job. Maintain a polished appearance and excellent interpersonal skills when interacting with family members, guests, and other staff Safety Consciousness: Prioritize safety at all times, demonstrating exceptional driving skills and an understanding of defensive driving techniques. Awareness of security protocols and emergency procedures is crucial Flexibility and Availability: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, as required by the family’s schedule. The ability to accommodate travel for extended periods is an asset. MUST be comfortable staying overnights at family estate when taking family there and when family resides there Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including family members, guests, and other staff members Cultural Awareness: Exhibit cultural sensitivity and adaptability to the family’s specific preferences and requirementsEnhanced DBS check required at offer stage
