Job Summary: Great opportunity for an experienced nanny who is confident with babies and the pre school age. This Rota role will be a mix of sole and shared care. The family will be lovely to work for, mum is at home but it is essential you are confident with both children, with their current Rota nannies they all have an understanding and are flexible to cover each other so some flexibility on the rotation will be required, typically planned out a month in advance . The family also have an adorable cockerpoo dog. The oldest boy is in nursery three full days and 2 half days per week.
Job specification:
• Mix of sole and shared care
• Planning activities that are age appropriate
• Keeping the children’s rooms tidy and organized
• Responsible for the children’s toys, cleaning them, organizing and replenishing new stuff when needed
• Help with nursery pick up and drop off
• Preparing healthy meals for the children, mum is still breast feeding the baby
• Assisting with the children’s laundry, managing the children’s wardrobe (housekeeper is employed)
• Packing and unpacking for travel
• Encouraging good manners and behaviour, someone fun but firm
Candidate specification:
• Fluent English skills are a must, bonus for a French speaker
• Previous experience in a similar role ideally a rota position
• Must be confident with all the developmental stages of babies and the early years
• The role is a mixture of sole charge and shared care; the nanny should be happy to work alongside the parents but also someone that they can trust and rely on to take sole charge
• You will be able to act on your own initiative, be highly organised and have excellent communication skills.
• An EU passport is essential to work in France (potential to obtain a visa for British passport holders)
• Bonus if you come from a Montessori or teaching background
Accommodation: Own bedroom and bathroom while on duty
Enhanced DBS/police check and Paediatric first aid check required at offer stage
